A Little Age Delivery and Logistics Guide

Quick answer

When resources do not arrive, diagnose the whole logistics chain before building more production: producer, stock, reservation, delivery, route, destination.

Diagnose the Whole Delivery Chain

When Food, Materials, or Gold does not arrive in A Little Age, the failure may be production, availability, route design, or destination demand. Do not start by building another producer. Start by tracing the full chain from source to destination.

Use this order: producer, stock, reservation, delivery, route, destination demand. The first weak link is the one to fix. If you change several links at once, you may solve the problem without knowing which change mattered.

Producer

Confirm that the source settlement or building actually creates the resource you expect in the current build. A building can be present but idle, under-supplied, capped by another input, or producing too slowly to support export.

Check local needs before treating output as surplus. If the source settlement needs the same resource, exporting it may weaken the source and create a new shortage. A dependable delivery starts with stock the source can spare.

Stock and Reservation

Visible stock is not always deliverable stock. If the current interface supports resource reservation, some output may be protected for local use or a planned project. That can make a route look broken even when the producer is working correctly.

Review reservation only after confirming production. Change one setting, resume briefly, and observe whether the delivery begins moving. If a project depends on the reserved resource, avoid releasing all of it just to satisfy a short-term destination.

Delivery Assignment

After confirming available stock, inspect the delivery instruction itself. The source, destination, and resource type should match the actual problem. A small mismatch can create a convincing but useless route: the wrong settlement sends the right resource, or the right source sends it to the wrong destination.

Use the current build's labels and destination names rather than memory from an older patch. Recent launch-window notes mention interface readability changes, so the exact display may differ from screenshots or older advice.

Route and Protection

A delivery needs a route that can be followed and, when threats apply, protected. Roads should connect a real source to a real need. Guardtowers should protect valuable traffic rather than decorate the map evenly.

If traffic stops on a route, follow it visually from destination back to source. Check road continuity, endpoints, terrain, and any threatened section. If the road has no clear economic job, compare it with the roads and guardtowers guide before spending more Gold.

Destination Demand

The destination must still need the resource. If demand disappeared, the delivery may pause for a valid reason. If demand remains but nothing arrives, compare destination storage, incoming route, available source stock, and reservation.

A destination can also ask for more than one resource at once. Fix the most limiting chain first. Sending Materials to a settlement that lacks Food may not improve the visible condition you were watching.

Build a Repeatable Logistics Check

Before changing the map, write the delivery in one sentence: “This source sends this resource to this destination because this demand exists.” If the sentence is vague, inspect more. If the sentence is clear, make the smallest change that supports it and verify both settlements afterward.

For broader economy diagnosis, continue with the resources guide. For regional planning, use settlements and trade. For upgrade choices that affect throughput, read buildings and upgrades.
